North Road Bicycle Imports is a treat to visit. High in the A. H. Motz building overlooking Court Square ( off North Road ), visitors to the shop are greeted by a lively macaw ("Mikey") and an energetic Border Collie ("Moo"). We sell hard to find bicycles, parts and accessories both new and used. Touring Cycles, Carradice of Nelson Bags and Brooks Saddles are a are a specialty.
For over a dozen years the shop has specialized in suppling specialty cycles hand built in England including traditional styled Pashley Cycles and the works of advanced engineering and functional art from the Moulton Bicycle Company. Designed by Alex Moulton; the award winning British Engineer, these cycling marvels are famous for their uniquely designed bicycles that hold many speed records, are fully suspended for road use and separate into sections for traveling. We are a busy shop and we often dispatch and receive bicycles from air freight and train terminals out of town causing us to close for a few hours, For a visit please call ahead so we can arrange our schedule to meet you and have the products you have an interest in ready for inspection.
